Born in the Philippines and raised in South Africa, Chef Edwin Sta. Ana's multicultural upbringing has deeply influenced his culinary style. After completing his schooling and earning a degree in Arts and Business Economics, he pursued his passion for cooking and graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts.

Chef Edwin's career highlights include being a pivotal part of the opening task force team for three Nobu locations, renowned for their exquisite Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine. His tenure with the luxurious Ritz Carlton brand saw him pioneering a modern approach to contemporary Japanese cuisine. Additionally, Chef Edwin's expertise was showcased during two world prestigious international soccer events, where he catered to VIPs and soccer teams.

In his most recent role at the Park Hyatt Hotel Doha, Chef Edwin successfully renovated and redefined the Japanese/Nikkei cuisine, leading the restaurant to win back-to-back awards for the best Japanese restaurant.
