

BALI, Indonesia (April 10, 2025) -- Meliá Bali, the first Meliá hotel to open outside of Spain four decades ago, is set to become another first for the Spanish hotel group. This December, after extensive renovations to elevate the property into a new category, Meliá Bali will emerge as the first Paradisus hotel in Asia.
Meliá Hotels International’s luxury all-inclusive brand Paradisus by Meliá has already been successful in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Spain, and is now making its debut in Asia on an island that holds special significance for the global hospitality group.
The new Paradisus by Meliá Bali will feature 485 luxury suites and seven villas. Spread throughout the grounds are four pools surrounded by lush tropical gardens and lagoons, eight new restaurants presenting upscale global gastronomy, and 12 different locations throughout the property where guests can enjoy top shelf drinks.
As a standout feature of the renovation, the hotel will introduce distinct spaces tailored to every type of traveler. The Reserve, an adults-only haven, offers elevated service, exclusive privileges, and refined facilities. Meanwhile, Family Concierge provides a luxury experience thoughtfully designed for families, ensuring personalized service and curated amenities for all ages.
Moving beyond the concept of all-inclusive, Paradisus by Meliá Bali’s Destination-Inclusive ® program prioritizes guest immersion in the destination, while emphasizing holistic well-being. Daily exclusive experiences will be on offer, inside and outside the property, with each designed to help guests uncover the beauty, rich culture and nature of Bali.
Paradisus will also look to Bali’s rich and varied wellness philosophies for wellness-related activities at the property. This will be complemented by the YHI Spa, which will offer a variety of treatments in a tranquil setting. The newly imagined 12 treatment room sanctuary set amid a verdant garden will feature a circuit pool with its own relaxation area.
On-site all meals, snacks, room service, free flow select alcoholic beverages, yoga and pilates, use of beach equipment and courts are included in the nightly rate.
Culinary enthusiasts will appreciate the new high-end restaurants, each serving up authentic cuisine and designed to take guests on a global gastronomy journey during their stay. All can be experienced as part of the all-inclusive program. The all-day dining restaurant Malva will serve up local and international dishes with a garden view. Peseta will highlight the brand's Spanish roots with traditional recipes and tapas, along with Spanish wine. Kanna Beach Restaurant, with its sandy perch, introduces cuisine from South America and fresh local seafood served while overlooking the ocean. The Samira Middle Eastern Restaurant is inspired by the tales of Arabian Nights. The Japanese restaurant Tokimeku covers a wide variety of the popular cuisine from sushi to robatayaki. The ARUM restaurant features daily Balinese performances in a uniquely Indonesian setting. Sante restaurant is an elegant adults-only affair. The poolside Shack restaurant serves up snacks and light bites. There’s also a local coffee shop, and two dedicated bars, The Ginger Bar and The Mixton Bar.
Families will benefit from Kidsdom, Meliá’s signature kids club; and YOURWAY, a club designed for teenagers. Both will offer engaging activities and entertainment tailored to younger guests. The resort will have its own water park with slides, and modern sport courts including Tennis, Paddle Tennis, Futsal, and Basketball.
Paradisus by Meliá Bali will feature an all-inclusive service that allows guests to indulge in dining and activities and enjoy a discount on wellness experiences at the YHI Spa as part of their nightly rate. The transition began in October 2024 and will continue through late 2025 with an expected opening date of December 2025.
